NSERC Discovery Grant awarded

The NSERC has funded the 2013 Discovery Grant submitted by P. Antici and devoted to “Novel high-brightness ultra-short particle sources and applications”. The grant foresees research in laser-based particle sources, in particular protons, and their use in different applications, e.g. materials science. The total grant is of 204000 $ over 5 years.
